COMPETITION OVERVIEW

Saturday 26th March - Sunday 27th March (2 days)

The Diamond Classic is part of a series of competitive events that The Yard is hosting this year to create FUN, POSITIVE and FRIENDLY opportunities for gymnasts to gain valuable experience in competing and performing.

For 2 years now, Covid has stopped all club and school gymnasts both boys and girls in Singapore from experiencing what it means to be a true competitive athlete. Where skill, strength and routine preparation are only half of the challenge of the sport. Being able to perform in the moment, in front of a judge and under competition conditions is the other half of a gymnast’s competitive development.

The Yard’s Diamond Classic Invitational is a competition focused on the developmental competitive levels for both WAG (Levels 2-5) and MAG (Fundamentals & Levels 1-5). The tournament is a ribbon and medal event that rewards ALL athletes for their hard work and efforts and recognising the outstanding performances of the day.

Designed to encourage positive experiences, the competition focus on learning to perform whilst bringing a community of passionate young athletes, coaches and clubs together for a weekend of Gymnastics FUN!
