IS JUMPING ON A TRAMPOLINE BETTER THAN RUNNING ON A TREADMILL?
Each form of exercise has its unique benefits. However, trampoline workouts are more effective in burning calories compared to treadmill workouts. Additionally, trampolining is a low-impact exercise, making it gentler on your joints while still providing an excellent cardio workout. WHAT SHOULD I WEAR FOR TRAMPOLINE CLASSES IN SINGAPORE?
At The Yard in Singapore, we recommend our female trampolinists to wear leotards and male trampolinists to wear training vests. New students can opt for athletic clothing such as shorts, leggings or warm-up pants along with a fitted t-shirt or sports top. All clothing should be free of zips, buttons, strings and pockets for safety reasons. Please avoid wearing jewellery, watches or accessories.
Long hair should be tied back, and short hair should be kept away from the face. Shoes are not permitted on the gym floor, but socks are required for our trampoline classes. We maintain these standards to ensure a safe and comfortable trampoline experience for all our students.
HOW LONG SHOULD YOU EXERCISE ON A TRAMPOLINE?

The duration of a trampoline workout can vary based on your fitness level and goals. For beginners in Singapore, we recommend starting with short intervals of around 10-15 minutes during our trampoline classes at The Yard, and gradually increasing the time of these intervals as your strength and stamina improve with training. As a general guideline, a good trampoline workout can range from 20-30 minutes for optimal fitness benefits.
